Online applications are invited for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) – 2020 [NEET (UG) – 2020] to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 provides for holding of a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law. Thus, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like institutions will also be made through NEET. NEET (UG) – 2020 shall be conducted in 11 languages, including English and Hindi.

Indian Army B.Sc Nursing 2020


AFMC ( Armed Forces Medical College Nursing 2020 online application process has been started from 14th November 2019.This admission test is conducted by the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. Through AFMC nursing exam, candidates will be able to get admission into 4 years B.Sc. Nursing course. It is a national level examination which is conducted only for female candidates. The admission will be done on the basis of written test and the interview conducted by AFMC.
Candidates will be awarded admission in Colleges of Nursing based on the merit cum choice, subject to medical fitness and the vacancies in each College. The selected candidates shall execute an Agreement/Bond to serve in the Military Nursing Service. On successful completion of nursing training (4years), the candidates will be granted Permanent/Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service, under the terms and conditions laid down for grant of such commission.
Eligibility Conditions:
(a) Female candidates who are unmarried/divorced/legally separated/ widow without encumbrances. (b) Nationality – Citizen of India (c) Date of Birth – Born between 01 Oct 1995 and 30 Sep 2003 (both days inclusive).
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have passed in the first attempt, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent (12 Years schooling) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a Statutory / Recognized Board /University/ Examination Body. Candidates who will be appearing for final year of qualifying examination during the current academic session may also apply provisionally.
Physical standards:
Minimum height required for entry into Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm. Gorkhas and candidates belonging to North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon will be accepted with a minimum height of 148 cm. Selection:
Eligible applicants will be called for an objective type Online Computer Based Examination of 90 minutes duration likely to be held in Apr 2020, covering General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence. On the basis of merit of Online Computer Based Examination, candidates will be called for interview during May 2020. Final selection will be based on the combined merit of Online Computer Based Examination & Interview, subject to medical fitness of the candidate, choice & vacancy in each College.

(a) Candidates may apply and pay the application fee online through www.joinindianarmy.nic.in which will be accessible from 14 Nov 2019 to 02 Dec 2019. The candidate’s E-mail ID is the user ID for this website and the candidate will select her own password.
(b) Only the Eligible candidates will be able to pay the online application processing fee of Rs 750/- (Rupees seven hundred and fifty only). On successful completion of online payment a bank reference number (DU Number) will be generated for the future correspondence of the candidate. (Online submission of applications & online payment of fee can be done till 5:00 PM on 02 Dec 2019).

NID Entrance Exam 2020

NID Design Aptitude Test is a means through which aspirants are shortlisted for admission in UG and PG design courses offered at the prestigious NID campuses. Candidates need to clear two NID admission tests in order to be eligible for admission in Bachelor of Design (BDes), Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) and Master of Design (MDes).  courses offered at its campuses.
Earlier, NID offered admission in its five campuses through NID entrance exam. However, from 2019 onwards two more NID campuses, that is, NID Bhopal and NID Jorhat also started offering admission in GDPD course on the basis of NID admission test. 
Candidates who want to apply for BDes or GDPD course at NID meet the eligibility criteria if they have cleared or are appearing for their higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examination from any stream (ScienceHumanitiesCommerce, etc.) from any recognised board such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or their equivalent in the year 2019-2020 can apply for the exam.

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.
The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
The advertisement for the KVPY Fellowship appears in all the national dailies normally on the Technology Day (May 11) and the Second Sunday of July every year.
Selection of the students is made from those studying in XI standard to 1st year of any undergraduate Program in Basic Sciences namely B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology having aptitude for scientific research. Special groups / Committees are set up at IISc to screen the applications and conduct an aptitude test at various centres in the country. Based on the performance in the aptitude test, short-listed students are called for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure. For receiving a fellowship, both aptitude test and interview marks are considered.
Generous fellowships are provided up to the pre-Ph.D. level to the selected KVPY Fellows.

NTA announces to conduct JEE (Main) April 2019 Examination for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. between 7 th April 2019 to 20th April 2019. Those Candidates who have already appeared in JEE (Main) January 2019 Examination can appear in JEE (Main) April 2019 Examination for improvement, if they so wish. The candidates who could not appear in the JEE (Main) January 2019Examination, may also appear in JEE (Main) April 2019 Examination. NATA- 2019 NATIONAL APTITUDE TEST IN ARCHITECTURE

All candidates who have passed 10+2 scheme of examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (individually) and also 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level examination and are desirous to apply for 1st year of 5-year B.Arch. degree course may appear for NATA 2019. Those appearing the 10+2 exam with PCM subjects in the current year may also provisionally appear in the exam, however, their result in NATA-2019 will be declared valid subject to fulfilling the above criteria.

    NDA 2019

    NDA (I) 2019 Application form is starting from 9th January 2019. The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will conduct the NDA 2019 examination. It is a national level entrance test. The UPSC NDA exam is conducted to recruit candidates in the Army, Navy and Air Force. This exam is conducted two times in a year, i.e. NDA I and NDA II. It is a two tier examination, after qualifying the written test candidates will also have to clear the SSB interview round.

    NDA Eligibility Criteria

    Nationality:

    A candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.

    Tibetan refugee who come over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

    Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

    Age Limit:

    For NDA I, candidates must have born between 2nd July 2000 to 1st July 2003.

    For NDA II, candidates should have born between 2nd January 2001 to 1st July 2004.

    Gender & Marital Status:

    Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA.

    Candidates must undertake not to marry until they finish their complete training.

    Qualification Criteria:

    For Army Wing of NDA: Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board.

    For Air Force & Naval of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with physics and mathematics subjects.

    Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

    Physical Standards:

    Candidates have to be physically fit as per the physical standards notified by the officials.

    Candidate who has resigned/withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any of the training academies of Armed Forces will not be eligible to apply.

    National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is conducted jointly by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai.

    NEST 2019 Eligibility

    Candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned requirements meet NEST 2019 eligibility criteria:
    • Candidates should pass Class XII in Science stream from a recognised board in India with at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates).
    • Candidates should have passed Class XII either in 2017 or 2018. Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams in 2019 are also eligible to apply.
    • Candidates should have studied a combination of any three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in classes XI and XII.
    • Age criteria: Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories should be born on or after August 1, 1999 in order to fulfill NEST eligibility criteria. Age limit relaxation of five years is given to candidates belong to SC/ ST/ PwD category. 
    • For OBC category candidates, the OBC (NCL) certificate should be issued on or after June 1, 2018.
